How switching works

  1. Bring your files.

    Connect your own bucket (S3, R2 or Google Cloud Storage), or we copy your Cloudinary media library into it for you.

  2. Change one domain.

    Swap res.cloudinary.com for your own domain on Flatpix. Your transformation parameters stay as they are.

  3. Cancel the credits.

    Watch both bills for a month, then turn Cloudinary off.

Is Flatpix part of Cloudinary?

No. Flatpix is an independent service by Taktek. It reads the same URL style so you don't have to rewrite your code.

Which transformations work?

The common ones from day one: size, crop modes, gravity, format, quality, DPR and named transformations. Send us your URLs and we'll tell you before you switch.

What about videos?

No. Flatpix handles images and print files.

Can I leave?

Yes. Your originals stay in your own bucket.
